Hello

This has been my life long dream ever since I was 11 years old. I started playing around with an animation app called “Flip-a-Clip”. As I played around with the program and started to improve on it, my dream started to expand. I made a lot of animations when I had free time. They would be short videos which were very funny and random. Now I am currently working on an original animation series on YouTube with a talented team called "Samantha and the Guardians."

Viewing my future, I see creating stories which incorporate imagination in my artwork or animations. I've always felt that animation is another unique way to reach out to others and spread messages in a deep and symbolic way. I use a cartoon/anime art style, but I make it my own. I draw anthropomorphic animals, but I do draw different things outside of my comfort zone like humans, architecture, objects, properties of drawing. I make the art style very unique and try to steer away from other well known art styles, like the Cal Bean head style. I often need help with voice acting and art.

I also have work experience with children.

I work part-time at the Glassell Junior School of Art. Glassell is an art school for young people, where creativity and appreciation of art is cultivated. I work as a junior aide (Teacher's assistant) to a few teachers. The Glassell School is also apart of the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston. By working at Glassell for a year already, I have really grown as an artist and teacher. Being around an artistic environment is a great experience for me given that is who I am.

 I work at the WIDE School in the afternoons as a care taker. I work with another teacher in an aftercare program to watch and make sure they are safe. Occasionally, I like to teach them how to draw certain things since a lot of kids like to draw until their parents arrive. I have started to take babysitting jobs for some children who go to after school as a side job.
